Hi there, I’m Karla!
My professional journey in dentistry began in 1997 when I graduated with honours from the Dental Assisting Program at Durham College, also receiving the Clinical Excellence Award. In 2001, I went on to receive my diploma from Canadore College’s Dental Hygiene Program, again graduating with academic honours.

Over the years I have helped many people of all ages with their oral health needs and in 2022 discovered the intriguing world of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT). Throughout my training I began to recognize my own Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMD’s). By applying my knowledge to helping my OMD’s, I was amazed how much my issues improved! It was clear that OMT was another positive, non-invasive way I can help to improve the lives of my clients.

I am excited to collaborate with other healthcare professionals who want to help people of all ages improve their general health and well-being. I work with my clients to determine the best plan for their success.

I live in Windsor, Ontario with my husband and two sons. We value time with our family & friends, and travelling.
